La lampada Taccia di Flos è un'icona indiscussa del design, firmata da Achille e Piergiacomo Castiglioni. Considerata dai designer la "Mercedes delle lampade", Taccia ha sembianze tradizionali nella base realizzata in alluminio verniciato nero, che ricorda una colonna classica. Il diffusore è una campana di vetro profonda sulla sommità della quale alloggia un disco concavo in alluminio smaltato bianco.
La lampadina è custodita all'interno della base di metallo e il diffusore è appoggiato liberamente sulla base e può essere orientato.
Taccia è stata subito accolta con successo e pensare che i fratelli Castiglioni volevano semplicemente creare un oggetto luminoso dalla superficie fredda.
