Volée is a latest-generation LED lighting fixture, in which formal research is combined with technological innovation. Characterized by a minimalist design, it is operated by an almost tennis-like gesture: a simple swipe of the hand beneath the head activates an electronic sensor that turns it on and off, without any physical contact. A touch sensor placed over the head allows the regulation of four levels of light intensity ( 40%, 60%, 100%, 0% ). A Time Out system automatically turns the lamp off after 5 hours of operation. The device consists of a head and structural rods in extruded aluminum and die-cast aluminum joints. The balancing mechanisms, with a hidden spring, are tensioned by steel ropes, which allow the user to direct the light with one fluid motion. Available in table, wall and floor versions. The table version can be equipped with a USB port for charging smartphones and tablets.
