Cassina LC10 Bureau La Semaine à Paris

A project by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, LC10 is the desk used in the office of the administrator of the newspaper La Semaine à Paris, from which it takes its name. The table was adapted to the daily needs of office work: Charlotte Perriand thus inserted a metal container on the side to store the files and extended the cantilevered glass plate to create a compartment for storing stationery material. Cassina has re-edited the desk preserving the original project and enriching it with a sheet metal chest of drawers, a technical compartment for the preparation of electrification and a USB port. The wiring is introduced with a lower cable entry access and exits laterally from the external side of the drawer unit.
