The D.552.2 coffee table is a project by Gio Ponti from 1956, re-edited by Molteni & C to celebrate the master in the Heritage Collection in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives. A small work of architecture, perfect in proportions and joints, as well as in the combination of rosewood and glass, poised between lightness and solid geometry.
The Milanese genius conceived this coffee table for the M. Singer & Sons company, one of the most important in New York, as part of a collection destined for the American market. Solid wood structure with satin brass feet and triangular top in extra-clear glass.
