Molteni&C Gio Ponti D.154.2 Outdoor Armchair
The D.154.2 armchair is a project by Gio Ponti from 1956, re-edited by Molteni & C to celebrate the master in the Heritage Collection in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives. The Milanese architect designed the seat for the Planchart collectors' villa in Caracas in 1953-57. A welcoming shell with a rigid polyurethane shell, a soft polyurethane counter-shell and a cushion available in the range of Molteni & C fabrics and leathers, with the possibility of differentiating the elements. Feet in metal brune. In 2016 the D.154.2 armchair won the prestigious Wallpaper Design Awards.
The D.154.2 armchair in 2023 becomes outdoor, with coverings and materials suitable for outdoors.
