Molteni&C D.157.6 Due Foglie Sofa
Due Foglie sofa by Gio Ponti enters the Heritage collection by Molteni&C with the name D.157.6. A project conceived for Villa Planchart in Caracas, commissioned in 1954 by Anala and Armando Planchart, admirers of the architect, Due Foglie has an original design that recalls the organic shapes of two elongated leaves. The base is made up of a black chrome steel trestle structure. Backrest and seat are made of foam shaped by two moulds. Due Foglie is a comfortable and spacious sofa for one person, welcoming for two.
Due Foglie was acclaimed by the public around the 70s, thanks to industrial technology and the advent of cold polyurethane foaming.
