Ava table by Molteni & C design by Foster + Partners is a dining table conceived entirely in wood. A complement for the living area with a sophisticated material effect of wood, used sparingly to create a sustainable modular solution. Sustainability is, on the other hand, the vision that guides the architecture study, aimed at satisfying the needs of those who live in the house with attention to the environment. Ava is inspired by construction and engineering works, drawing inspiration from the light shapes of aircraft wings and bridges. The table consists of two main segments: a middle section and an end. Sculptural and minimal at the same time, Ava by Molteni & C foresees the junctions between the two sections accentuated by a shadow escape that recalls architectural traditions.
